Stephanie Fields of Essex, UK, did a bit of clowning around when she felted this fun little guy! What a  darling expression, we’re in love with him too! Can’t wait to see more Stephanie

“Thought I’d show you what I made with your bear kit and a few other things from my fiber/craft stash.  I’m in love with this little guy!  The colors are much brighter in person.  He’s the second bear from the kit I got from you – I went with bent legs this time for a traditional teddy bear feel.  :)

Carol Travis, of South Africa, led a work shop for her fellow Teddy Bear enthusiasts with such adorable results!  Thanks for sharing felting with your group! Hope to see more of what you create!

“After ordering and getting my wool from you,  I wanted to do a workshop with the ladies who had never done it before, to show them how exciting needle felting is.  It was decided to do a teddy waistcoat for the first try.  We used felting wool as decoration onto plain craft felt, and then added some special knitting yarns to use as accents, which were needle felted onto the waistcoat.  I was so ‘chuffed’ that the ladies really enjoyed themselves.  There were a few ‘poked’ fingers and one broken needle, but we all had so much fun.   They are all eager to do another workshop, so I am working on some ideas.  Thank you for the ’materials’ to help to make my ideas come alive. Many Thanks and hugs”

Kathy Johnson of Candler, NC, did a great job needle felting this cuddly cutie with some help from our Bunny Love Kit! Love those darling feet and great whiskers. You’re off to a fantastic start Kathy!
“This is my first needle felting project.  It was the Bunny Love kit from Living Felt.  I liked the kit because it gave me all the tools I needed to get started with a needle felt project.   The directions were right on target on how to do each step.    Thanks Living Felt.    It was great fun!  And I can’t wait to do more.”

Irma Hoani of New Zealand needle felted this stunning likeness of Falkor the Luck Dragon from the children’s book and movie “The Never-Ending Story”.  You really captured something in those eyes, Irma! He is gorgeous!

“Just finished the epic adventure that was needle felting Falkor the Luck Dragon from The NeverEnding Story! I needle felted him over a strong wire armature using white merino wool and a merino/silk blend. His “fur” is hand rooted mulberry silk.  His scales are hundreds of individually sewn glass seed beads, iridescent beads and natural New Zealand shell beads. His claws are sculpted of paperclay and he has acrylic eyes.
There are many more photos of him on my blog and you can see him as a work in progress!
http://fantasyfelt.blogspot.com Thanks!”

With some help from her own canine companion Molly, Sheryl Smith of Van Nuys, CA needle felted this wonderful scene. What a great moment you’ve captured, Sheryl!  I love the dog’s little collar!

“Hi!  Here is my newest needle felted project, finished last week.  It’s a Bluetick Coonhound doing what coonhounds do.   The dog was made using the darkest gray [charcoal] in the Monochrome Goody Pack, with black patches, and the dog’s tan markings and the racoon were made with colors from the flesh tones goody pack. My springer spaniel Molly helped me find the stick for the tree, on our walk in the woods.”

This cute little cat was needle felted by Sheryl Smith of Van Nuys, CA.  Love those green eyes and that bright purple thread! Thanks Sheryl!

“Hi Everyone, Patricia’s cat with yarn that just got posted recently reminded me that I hadn’t yet sent you my little cat that I made last month. This little cat is only about 4 inches long and was made using one of the grays in your Monochrome Goody Pack, and I also used your black and white Merino cross batts.”

Patricia has more to share with this personality-filled panda bear “Blossom”! Looks like you are on your way to making your own  zoo, Patricia! And I love that crazy flower The Lima and Candy colors are a great accent to the black and white bear!

“Here’s Blossum, my bear.  He’s all felted, 18 in high. He’s got wire armature. Also the flower is all felted, as is the pot. I used merino wool on face and detail.”
