Felted Flower Wallhanging Resembles a Painting

 

Lisa Shanor of Wyoming celebrates spring with this gorgeous wet and needle felted wall hanging, depcting fresh cut flowers in a glass vase. She wet felted the base and finished the design with needle felting.

 

We love the technique she used for the vase that undoubtedly shows it to be see-through glass, and technique background that makes it resemble a watercolor wash with heavy concentrations of color in some areas and fading to light in seemingly uncontrolled patterns.
