Stuffed Dodo and Owlet by Barb Soet
These wonderful pieces were needle felted by Barb Soet of Missouri! “I got interested in making a ‘stuffed dodo’ when I realized there was no such thing: seems all we have are renderings by sailors from the 1600’s. So that gives plenty of room for artistic interpretation” The beak and feet are made from polymer clay.
This charming “owlet” has a needle felted body and head with a face made of sculpted polymer clay.
These pieces are so inspiring, thank you Barb! What are YOU, readers, inspired to make?!
