As Felted Portraits Week comes to a close, we have a very special needle felted sculpture to share with you ~ Miss Ruby,
a needle felted life-size doll by the late Claudia Everett.
Early this year, we received a call from Jim Everett > he was on a mission to share the work of his beloved and talented wife who had recently passed away. Claudia was a member of our extended felting community, and she loved reading our weekly newsletters and seeing the inspiring works shared by so many of our friends.
It was really important to Jim that the community also see the work of Claudia,
he spoke so lovingly of Claudia, her talent, and her passion for her art; he knew we would all appreciate it so much.
We promised to find just the perfect time to share it, and none better than the climax of Felted Portraits Week.
