These bears are so wonderfully vintage in style and beautifully handcrafted! The LF crew is touched and humbled by Kevin’s kind comments, and swooning over these bears 🙂
“It’s been a beary good weekend! Two needled felted teddies and one German mohair. Good therapy for a busy week…
I’ve been making mohair bears for about 20 years but just picked up needle felting about 6 months ago and I Love it. I also love having Living Felt and Marie and crew in my hometown.
Love the store, products and Marie’s inspiration.”

Daniela is a newborn photographer that began making her own props such as bonnets and toys for use and for sale. They are so darn precious, it’s no wonder other photographers want them also! I wonder…can grown ups wear that at all? 🙂
She used CX-2 Winter White to create this sweet set.
“Finally an image in use of our beautiful unicorn set!!! Lovely image done by Stacie May from Stacie Paris Photography“

Shelly has been felting with us a few years and treated us to some wonderful felted critters! This one is pure delight!
“I sculpted this guy for my daughter to look like her drawing of a monster. He was sculpted with caspian, oatmeal, orchid pink, and majestic blue and black onyx for his eyes. He has a wire armature …I also added a couple of small rock to weigh him down a bit to help him stand better.
She is already asking me to sculpt one of the other four monsters she designed. Thank you Living Felt for making it possible for me to create all of the things I want to try….”

Jane Schares of Syracuse, New York sent in pictures of her needle felted Bumpe Toy! This traditional toy is darling and oh so sweet!
Jane says, “Bumpe is a character from a children’s alphabet book written and illustrated to delight all ages. I fell in love with him and made this peek-a-boo toy to gift to my great nephew along with the book, ‘Bumpe'”.
“I ran into several challenges as I’m new to this but it was great fun. Next pop-up will be made much smaller!”
Jane felts with LIVING FELT CW-1 Core Wool, New Zealand Corriedale, Merino Top, Earth Harmony Needle Felting Foam, and our Green Soy Foam Mat.
