Even though the artist was not feeling physically well when she made this piece, one look at this wet and needle felted abstract wall art, and it is evident that her creative Spirit is flourishing! This pretty felted heart is a fabulous Valentine, yet also fitting to grace a door all year round. "I love making hearts, I tend to put them in all my creations! This is needle felted with MC1, wet felt cord with left over wool I had in the house, a bit of embroidery too, I attached a wooden heart that I painted and then I had the idea of quilling some colored strips of paper to make them into circles and glued them on , behind the wooden heart I will write a self love affirmation! Patti Wins a Felting Goody Box! Patti is a very active member of our online community and participates in a lot of felting projects shared on Wooly Wednesday. We love how well this beautifully felted Waffa Bird was photographed. "I present to you the rare Funnel Head #WAFFA coming out of my mom’s fav garden truck. This is one fun project but I do agree with another who posted wrestling with the wire was a challenge and will hopefully get easier. Although I thought I stretched the florist tape as I wound it around the legs, it preferred to unravel like a set of oversized bloomers Thanks for the great instruction!
