 DOLL CATEGORY

First Place Winner:

Jacqueline Felix of Erie, Pennsylvania
“I Love Ewe”

There’s hardly an element in Jacqueline’s doll that ISN’T felted. Her little shepherdess has removable clothing! The wheel barrow and ewe are the perfect accompaniments to this creation. Such an amazing work of art. Congratulations to Jacqueline.

Second Place Winner:

Teresa Brooks of Nelson, New Zealand
“Topsy Turvy Cinderella”

The whole fairy tale comes to life in Teresa’s little doll. At once she’s our poor heroine, and then, turn her over, and we have our favorite princess! Such a wonderful illustration of the beloved story. Her dresses are perfectly detailed with antique lace for the princess, and tiny holes for her cinder dress. This is a marvelous creation…and only her second felted doll ever!

 FAIRY TALE CATEGORY

First Place Winner:

Teresa Brooks of Nelson, New Zealand

“The Princess and the Pea”

While still working on her Cinderella entry for the doll category,  Teresa took on the challenge of felting the sensitive Princess and her bed of many blankets and duvets. She became enchanted with this lovely little doll, and produced a champion! This is only Teresa’s 3rd needle felted doll, the 2nd was Cinderella and her first ever was a simple Kewpie Doll.
